History

Interfracht was founded on 1st April 1972 in Bremen by Hans Peter Hogenkamp and Udo Karrasch. The company was initially located in the city’s historical Cotton Exchange Building, then later at the Gate of the Europahafen.

Continuous growth

In early 1993 we proudly moved into our new built facility, which nowadays is the Group headquarter with a total of 32000 sqft office space. Located near Bremen International Airport in Stuhr- Brinkum.

Today the Interfracht Group has offices and representations in Bremen, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Bremerhaven as well as in Sweden, Poland, Romania, China, Japan and the United States with a total staff of about 480 employees. These companies all corporate under the roof of one holding company, Interfracht Speditions-Gesellschaft GmbH & Co. KG.
